We were delighted to officially open our new headquarters last week at Trafford House, Manchester. With its predominant position in the city, the new office forms a central hub for our team, as well as a space to collaborate with our suppliers.
We marked the occasion by inviting our staff, partners, suppliers and sub-contractors, with an amazing turn out of around 50 guests. It was great to see the people and faces that make our community what it is.
Guests included long-time collaborator and friend of Urbanise, John Boardman of stephenson hamilton risley STUDIO, who was the lead architect on two of our flagship projects, One and Two Express. Having also designed our new office space, we invited John to cut the ribbon and mark the office officially open!
We were proud to reveal the bespoke pieces of artwork we have commissioned by artist Georgie Harrison and photographer James Maddox – our way of paying homage to this wonderful city.
We also took the opportunity to wish two of our longest-standing employees Julie and Bernard a happy retirement with parting gifts – a holiday voucher and a fishing rod respectively.
Thank you to everyone who came – it was a great day! We very much look forward to continue working with you and seeing you all again soon.
